Why polyaspartic is faster

Polyaspartic coatings cure far faster than standard epoxy. Where an epoxy system needs days of cure time between coats, a polyaspartic system can typically be prepped, coated, and topcoated in one working day — so your garage is back in service sooner.

Cold-weather performance

Standard epoxy needs warm conditions to cure properly, which makes winter installs a problem in Utah. Polyaspartic coatings can be applied in cold weather where epoxy cannot, so the season for getting your floor done runs much longer. If you've been told to wait until spring, a polyaspartic system may be the answer.

Durability and looks

• Hard, chemical-resistant surface. Polyaspartic stands up to oil, chemicals, and abrasion, and it cleans up with a sweep and a mop like any coated floor.
• Stays looking right in sunlight. Unlike some coatings that yellow or fade where sunlight hits the slab, polyaspartic holds its color — a real plus for garages with windows or doors that let sun in.
• Flake or solid color. Polyaspartic systems come in the same decorative flake blends and solid colors as epoxy, so you're not trading looks for speed.

Choose standard epoxy when the timeline is flexible and you want the classic system at a lower material cost.
